What to expect

The first treatment will normally include a full assessment, static and dynamic and a background history of your horse including any health issues it may have. The treatment itself will also include a palpatory assessment of the horse to determine any problem areas. The treatment itself usually takes around 45mins - 1 hour, this can vary depending on the horses needs.

This image shows a common response to the Bowen. Due to the stimulation of the lymphatic and circulatory systems often veins become engorged and stripes can temporarily occur in the fur showing increased lymphatic activity.
