The importance of fascia in exercise

This is a great video courtesy of Functional Patterns where Thomas Myres explains the influence of fascia on cardiovascular exercise. During a Bowen Therapy session I will be working to try and release areas of fascia that may not be functioning as it should due to things like injury or compensation patterns that the body has created from imbalances. Whether you work your body hard doing various sports or physical activities or you sit a a desk all day, it is important not to neglect your fascia health as it has such a major impact on the rest of the functions of your body. Bowen Therapy can be a great treatment to incorporate into looking after your fascial health.
